Actions speak louder than words,
The old saying goes.
But what is an action
Without words to go with it?
Yet what is the truth behind words
Without actions to prove them?
So if truth be told,
Actions are not louder than words,
Nor
Words are louder than actions
Depending on the emotions behind either.
Love…hate…indifference;
It is the meaning
Behind the actions of the words
That can hurt the most.
